Saltshadow Castle publishes history books for academic and general audiences. Our company goal is to produce accurate, high quality content at affordable prices.

In 2014, we published our first book, Pythagoras, Bruno, Galileo, which is now out of print because a subsequent version was published by Reaktion Books, U.K.

Our second book, The Media Versus the Apprentice (2019), has been featured on Full Measure and the documentary Hoaxed, a #1 on iTunes in 2020. Former White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, praised it as “this may be the most exciting conversation that I've had on the show.” Spicer emphasized: "it'll blow your mind, what he has put in this book. He breaks down every media narrative with facts and history." This book is available in paperback, Kindle, and audiobook.

We also published the scholarly monograph, Pythagoras or Christ? Christians against Pagans (2022). This historical study traces how, in ancient times, early Christians opposed the pagan Pythagorean religion and yet, how its secretive advocates persisted, for centuries, despite Catholic opposition, and with the apparent support of famous astronomers and philosophers in the Renaissance, such as Copernicus, Bruno, Kepler, and Galileo.

Next, Giordano Bruno y Galileo (2024) is the Spanish translation of the book Burned Alive: Giordano Bruno, Galileo and the Inquisition.

In 2025, we published Eyes of Texas: Blackface to Whitewash, which is a meticulous exposé of the history of the song of the University of Texas at Austin. It shows how the song originated from Confederate nostalgia and Jim Crow culture in Texas, and how it was created for a blackface minstrel show. Available in hardcover and paperback.

Saltshadow Castle books are available on Amazon and from major booksellers in multiple countries.
